GAINING IMPACT IN FRONT OF THE STEERING COMMITEE
A global manufacturing company wants to boost the ability of
its project managers to obtain a "go" from a board of
decision-makers. Dodeca designs a blended coaching approach: an upstream
e-learning course to assess oneself and acquire new tools, an intensive
personalized training workshop, in both French and English, and a brief
coaching session to anchor new skills in the long run through peer learning.

How can the

Dodeca first had the department members fill in an anonymous
questionnaire and then mapped out the sources of conflict and the players. When the diagnosis was shared with the team, they acknowledged the
collective suffering and a vicious circle in the way they interacted and
functioned. Through “edutaining” activities, everyone became
aware of the system dynamics in the field and acknowledged their share of responsibility. Each person grasped
the differences in perceptions of situations better and understood the impact
of his or her behavior. Corrective actions were then clearly identified, and as
a result, the interpersonal atmosphere is no longer the same. Department
meetings and a progress status day six months later helped bring about and
consolidate the metaporphosis.
